What's the approach for adding the popcorn into the attack animation for the corn (godot)
I've never used godot but you basically create a projectile at the last frame of animation (or a couple frames earlier), spin the sprite (optional), give it a trajectory however you like.
This would have been a perfect combination with my previous game jam submission

Hey, came across your work today and just wanted to say that I love what you do. The personality of these is outstanding and gave me a "hostile garden" idea where not your average farmers harvest the crops but the guards.
i am interested in a bunch of your monsters but i am unclear on what directions they offer... im making a game in stardew valley style view and would need them 4 directional, but it appears they just have 2 directional attacks and movement, right?
Yes, the sprites are facing only one direction (two if you flip them).
